Meet Mahoganie and her family - Habitat homeowner! Mahoganie worked two jobs but struggled to provide stable housing for her family. In 2020, Mahagonie's life was transformed when she became the owner of a Habitat home. Her kids perform better in school and she's gone on to get her bachelor's and Master's degree in social work. 

Every day Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity works to help families to achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. This vital work could not be done without the generous contributions of people like you. 

Your investment builds homes, communities, and a world of hope for people in Eastern Jackson County, MO, serving eleven cities. Truman Habitat builds homes in partnership with families and volunteers. Homes are rehabbed and  home repairs are made to improve safety, affordability, and accessibility. 

Since 1987, over a thousand families have built strength and security through homeownership and education.  Many more are on the path to affordable homeownership and you are the key to opening that door.
