Master Homeowner Workshop Series

Master Homeowner Program is a 9-week workshop series focusing on financial literacy and basic home maintenance to educate & empower future homebuyers. 

Registration is required. Space is limited, so please honor your RSVP.

• Workshops 6-8pm.  Free Dinner provided.  

• Participants who attend all 9 workshops will receive a complete starter toolbox (valued at $149)

• You must attend all classes to be eligible to apply for a Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity home or special incentives with lending partners.

Thursday, February 20: Plumbing - presented by Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity

Thursday, February 27: Homeowner Insurance -  presented by Dewayne Burkett- Goosehead Insurance

Thursday, March 6: Fire Safety & Hands Only CPR - presented by Central Jackson Country Fire Department

Free Kids Play & Learn activities during each class

Let’s all play and learn together! This special playtime is designed to stimulate young minds and strengthen literacy skills. Attending families will have the opportunity to choose one free Forever Book for each of their children to expand their home library.  Provided by the Mid-Continent Public Library's Reading Rocket program.
